Job description
The person who will be most effective in this position is someone who:

- Is proficient with technology, including computer software
Responsibilities include:
- Providing support on a wide range of administrative tasks
- Greeting and entertaining guests who visit our premises
- Independently coordinating basic business functions such as mailing, shipping, customs, and transportation of artwork to/from suppliers, clients or locations; supporting our accountant with efficient and accurate data entry
- Updating administrative/management software; cataloging and tracking inventory, in addition to generating invoices, receipts, evaluations, shipping documents etc.
- Answering telephone calls, taking messages and providing basic customer service to prospective clients
- Filing expenses and coordinating information exchange between galleries
- Creating and formatting business documents
- Assist with keeping premises clean and tidy
- Opening and closing
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: DEC or Bachelor's Degree
- Prior experience as an administrative assistant
- Proficient in english, written and oral.
- Can work with Google Apps (Chrome, Drive, Sheets, Docs, Gmail, Calendar), Mac OS X, MS Office (Word & Excel)
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; InDesign, Lightroom, Photoshop...
Assets: Prior experience working in an art business, French language skills.
