Corporate Services Assistant
Full Time Permanent

Join our dynamic team as a Corporate Services Assistant! In this exciting role, you'll be a go-to person to help maintain our vibrant workplace. Your responsibilities will range from greeting visitors with a smile at reception to managing mail and courier shipments efficiently. You'll also support the building operations, helping to oversee vendors to ensure our facility runs smoothly. Plus, you'll provide crucial support to our Finance and Corporate Services team, taking on various administrative tasks that keep our operations humming. If you're organized, proactive, and eager to make an impact, we want you on our team!
What you’ll do
- Responsible for full reception duties
- Responsible for the shipment and receipt of all mail, products, and supplies. Collaborates with the Building Operator and others involved in the shipment and receipt of mail/products.
- Responsible for logging candidate applications
- Supports meetings and events as required; prints name tags, meeting signage, calls taxi’s, etc.
- Assists with maintaining office supplies inventory including the distribution to the copy rooms.
- Ensures that the MCC’s common spaces are well maintained and have adequate supplies.
- Provides meeting room services by inspecting rooms regularly, ensuring adequate meeting room supplies and rearranging chairs and equipment.
What you need to succeed
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the administrative duties
Technical Skills
- Office automation skills, e.g. MS Word, Excel and other software programs as required
- Efficient keyboarding skills
- Basic knowledge of local and provincial workplace compliance regulations, ordinances and legislation is an asset.
- First Aid certification is an asset
Competencies
- Ability to comprehend and communicate detailed instructions orally and in writing
- Thorough knowledge of office procedures
- Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and work autonomously
- Demonstrated initiative, responsibility and flexibility
- Good communication and problems solving skills
- Reliable
Language
- Advanced oral and written skills in English, French an asset
Education
- High School Diploma
- A Business Administration certificate would be considered an asset
