Project Manager with experience managing complex projects
Position Description:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support IBM Canada clients with contracted technical engagements in both a remote/virtual and customer onsite capacity.
Skills required: PMP methodologies such as Project Planning/Organization, Resource Management, Scope Management, Requirements Management, Risk Management, Issues Management, Schedule Management, Project Change Management, Stakeholder Management, Communications Management, and Time & Cost Management.
Excellent organization and communication skills, both written and oral, are an integral part of this position and the ideal candidate would be adept at delivering customer presentations, and overseeing meetings involving C level clients. The ability to understand and communicate technical solutions is an asset, with support from the technical team.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Post Secondary Degree/Diploma/Certification(s)
- Minimum of 5-10 years experience working as a Project Manager
- Ability to execute PMP Methodology
- Excellent Written and Oral Communication, Meeting Facilitation and Customer Presentation skills
- English speaking
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- PMP Certification preferred
- Minimum of 10 years experience working as Project Manager, with experience managing complex projects
- Experience working in the Education sector
- French speaking is an asset
- Capable technical aptitude is an asset, but not mandatory
