Clerk, Recreation Complex (Temporary)
(Part Time - July to October $25.31/Hour)
The incumbent Provides telephone/front desk reception for the Recreation Complex processing
memberships, program registrations and providing general information to the public in response to
enquiries. Other responsibilities include the taking of booking requests and processing daily cash
reports.
Successful applicants will possess the following:
- Successful completion of secondary school education or any combination of education,
workplace training and experience deemed to be acceptable by the Corporation.
- Three months of general office/cashier experience.
- Demonstrated ability to deal courteously and professionally with staff and the public.
- Demonstrable knowledge of MS Office software products.
- Knowledge of basic accounting methods for the handling and recording of daily Recreation
Complex revenue and creating payment plans.
- Strong customer service and communication skills (in the English language) to provide
effective counter/telephone reception.
