Project Co-Ordinator, Learning Institute
The Project Coordinator is responsible for a variety of strategic activities that support the mission of the Learning Institute and plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and delivery of high quality-services within our Conference Centre.
Here's What you'll Get To Do
- Work with the Executive Director, Learning Institute and members of the Learning Institute team to advance strategic projects
- Lead activities related to the creation of the Learning Institute Annual Report, monthly Learning Institute newsletter, and other communication materials
- Maintain the internal and external websites
- Assist with organizing and scheduling committee and project meetings, and coordinating the schedule of project activities
- Assist with various aspects of project coordination including planning, scheduling, tracking, monitoring, documenting, and reporting
- Prepare and present various reports, presentations, and documents
- Collaborate with and maintain timely communication and updates with all project team members, including internal SickKids staff and external stakeholders, to achieve project deliverables and ensure collaborative working relationships
- Manage the booking calendars for the Conference Centre spaces, and support efforts to optimize use and functioning of the space
- Assist with delivery of large and complex conference events
- Address client concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner
- Promote a collaborative approach to problem-solving by fostering a trusting and respectful environment open to continuous improvement

Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Exceptional organizational skills and an ability to support multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong writing, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills, with a customer-focused approach
- Superior multi-tasking skills with the ability to plan, set priorities, meet deadlines, and work confidently under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Well developed problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) and experience advancing EDI objectives
Assets
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software
- Previous experience in project or program coordination
- Experience collaborating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve a common goal
- Hospital experience is an asset
Employment Type: Full time (35 hours/week), One year Contract
