This position is responsible for performing a variety of functions associated with the planning, reviewing and scheduling of work activities, in collaboration with various TTC departments. This involves developing and updating a list of on-going initiatives, projects, as well as frequent interaction with stakeholders to efficiently coordinate resources and identify constraints impacting various phases of repairs, reviews, inventories, replacements, and rehabilitation activities of I&E assets.
As a TTC employee you are responsible for treating passengers and/or employees with respect and dignity and ensuring the needs of passengers or employees with disabilities are accommodated and/or addressed (if applicable and within their area of responsibility) in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code and Related Orders so that they can fully benefit from the TTC as a service provider and an employer and you will also be participating in the TTC Customer Service Ambassador Program.

- Your application demonstrates experience in the analysis of construction schedules involving complex projects, and a good understanding of the tactical construction restraints involved with construction projects;
- Your application demonstrates knowledge of project management principles, track/tunnel/structure construction and rehabilitation methods;
- Knowledge of all relevant legislation and policies (e.g. Occupational Health & Safety Act, environmental compliances etc.);
- Strong organizational, administrative, interpersonal, verbal communications, and technical report writing skills;
- Sound judgement; strong analytical, interpersonal and problem solving skills ;
- Completion of a post-secondary college diploma or university degree in a relevant experience or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent;
- Ability to coordinate the efforts of others to accomplish objectives;
- Proficiency in the use of a computer MS-Suite, MS Project scheduling software applications, database concepts and advanced use of spreadsheet automation;
- Must have or rapidly acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the Ontario Human Rights Code and Related Orders including disability accommodation and accessibility requirements pertaining to passengers and employees;
- Knowledge of the TTC’s budgeting process and technical knowledge of the TTC’s subway track network combined with knowledge of the trades associated with track construction/repair activities would be an asset.
