With Prodigy, kids practice standards-aligned skills in Math and English as they play our fun, adaptive learning games. All with teacher and parent tools to support their learning in class and at home.
As a Senior QA on our Live Ops team, you will collaborate closely with development teams, offering essential feedback on upcoming features. You will also be pivotal in addressing issues reported by our Customer Support team. Moreover, you will aid in the creation of new technology and testing practices, allowing Prodigy to quickly adapt to changing technological and social environments. Your commitment will support our mission to remain a user-focused company, dedicated to providing the best possible experience for our users.
Your Impact

- Collaborate with your manager to align efforts with the team's objectives and drive progress
- Focus on key priorities and deliver clear results. When needed, suggest suitable adjustments to the project scope
- Actively engage in the team's core processes, including suggesting and implementing improvements
- Proactively and clearly communicate status and quality risks to the team for your areas of responsibility, effectively utilizing basic quality metrics in the process
- Explain and advocate for quality processes that ensure effective quality management to stakeholders such as PMs, Game Designers, Team Leads, and developers, with the support of more senior QAs
- Work with developers to define and prioritize which test cases can and should be automated
About You
- Contribute to writing and maintaining scripts with some development experience (e.g., TypeScript) to ensure smooth operations
- Your vast experience in designing and implementing tests for both new and established games/applications will significantly strengthen our capabilities, and your genuine passion for the gaming industry will magnify the impact of your contributions
- Your drive to automate repetitive tasks will contribute to working efficiently
- Your understanding of SCRUM/AGILE methodologies will empower you to pinpoint opportunities for improving your team's performance
- Being an effective communicator, you'll excel in a remote work setup, seamlessly collaborating with distributed development teams
- Your exceptional time management abilities will be crucial as we juggle multiple priorities, necessitating efficient prioritization and adaptation to shifting circumstances
- With your technical acumen, you'll fearlessly delve into the inner workings of software by exploring the console of your web browser
- Your passion for creating an inclusive environment will contribute to our collective efforts in making learning enjoyable for everyone
