As an art advisory, we guide private and corporate clients through each step of the collecting process. As an independent curatorial service, we offer expertise in the development of original art exhibitions.

Position Overview:
The Project Manager, Advisory & Marketing role will be a driving force for Pursuits. Working as an integral part of the team, this role combines elements of project management, communications, marketing and operational support.
Primary responsibilities will involve logistics coordination for client projects, art acquisitions, installations and collections management; marketing and PR strategy and implementation; and engaging in research for new initiatives. The Project Manager will also support day to day administration, oversee company systems and resources, and support team projects as needed.
We are looking for outgoing candidates with an interest in arts and entrepreneurship. Creative energy, vision and passion for experiential art and storytelling is essential.
The ideal candidate will be a lover of learning, have a bias for action, have deep commitments to collaboration, community building and innovation.Candidates will also bring organizational skills, attention to detail, and incredible communication skills. This role will involve a dynamic range of initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
Project Manager & Operations
- Oversee and coordinate logistics and budgeting for client projects, art acquisitions, installations and collections management
- Strategize and prepare client project proposals, create pitches utilizing a variety of web-based tools and software, including Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Miro, Notion, and Wordpress
- Identify, prepare and contribute to funding sources and collaborative opportunities such as grants, sponsorships and partnerships
- Prepare contracts and letters of agreement as directed and required
- Maintain and update website and digital resources
- Manage day-to-day administration and support team projects as needed
Marketing & Engagement
- Strategy and implementation, project goal setting, defining objectives and stakeholder engagement
- Create communications and campaigns, including templates and outreach materials
- Conduct company communications with existing clients, industry partners and stakeholders
- Organize and maintain Customer Relations Management (CRM) software
- Assist with maintenance of the company’s CRM and maintain data accuracy by making updates to client records as needed
- Support the creation of database reports and perform data analysis to help draw meaningful conclusions and make recommendations
- Conduct research on industry and competitive analysis, statistics and trend reporting
- Participate in the creation, development and distribution of digital and social media strategies
Community Outreach
- Actively participate in industry-related community events
- Network building both at in-person and virtual events
- Design and produce community engagement initiatives. Previous company initiatives include events celebrating community leaders and mentoring young professionals

- Post-secondary education related to arts, business or marketing
- 3+ years work experience in the arts industry, marketing or business administration
- Knowledge and understanding of the international and local art industry an asset
- Social media skills (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)
- Experience with Adobe, Photoshop, Wordpress and Notion
Full-time position, 35-40 hours per week remotely and in-office.
Salary: $50,000 – 55,000, salary commensurate with experience.
