Aslan Renewables is seeking a visionary and strategic Corporate Development Manager to spearhead our expansion efforts and forge crucial partnerships that will drive our mission of bringing clean, sustainable hydroelectric power to communities in North America and worldwide. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on global energy access while navigating complex business, governmental, and social landscapes.
About Aslan Renewables:
Since being founded in 2020, Aslan has been developing solutions to activate mid-range hydroelectric sites across Canada. Beginning with the introduction of modern technology to decommissioned dam sites in Atlantic Canada in 2022, Aslan has been lowering the barrier of entry for hydro generation to the benefit of rural communities, First Nations partners, and Canada’s national supply of base-load clean energy.
We believe that an electrified future for North America must include sources of predictable, stable, clean base-load power. We believe that Canada’s river systems and estuaries have a significant role to play in this future – working with First Nations partners, Watershed Organizations, Fish and Wildlife advocacy groups, and with the recent endorsement of King Charles III for our environmental work, we believe we have a solution that can bring North America’s small hydro systems back to life to power our communities, the same way they did 100 years ago.
Today the team is ready to scale production to activate over a 1000 mid-range capacity hydro sites and begin scalable production of its hydro station model for export.
By joining our team, you'll be at the forefront of the renewable energy revolution, turning the simple flow of water into a powerful force for positive change. Together, we can make clean energy accessible, affordable, and abundant for generations to come.
Join us in our mission to unlock the full potential of hydroelectric power and help write the next chapter in sustainable energy history.
