Join our dynamic team as an HR Business Partner, where you’ll provide strategic HR advisory services to managers and employees within your assigned client portfolios. Your role will be pivotal in driving business success by delivering client-focused solutions and supporting organizational goals. You’ll collaborate with HR centers of excellence to implement consistent, enterprise-wide HR programs and practices.
What You Will Do:
- HR Advisory & Relationship Building: Act as a trusted advisor, providing coaching, advice, and consultation on employee relations, compensation, performance management, off-boarding, and exit interviews. Build strong relationships with managers, understand their business needs, and translate them into practical HR solutions
- Customer Service Excellence: Deliver high-quality HR services promptly and accurately, ensuring alignment with client expectations and capabilities. Educate managers and employees on HR policies and practices to ensure consistent application across the organization
- Employee Relations & Compliance: Guide managers through employee relations issues, including performance challenges and disciplinary actions. Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR policies, recommending solutions and corrective actions as needed
- Training & Tools: Partner with HR Team to provide training, tools, and support to enhance client self-sufficiency on HR issues such as employee relations, performance management, and change management
- Job Design: Partner with the Total Rewards team to assist in drafting and revising job descriptions for organizational design, recruitment, and ob evaluation processes. Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and programs with organizational-wide impact
- Feedback & Continuous Improvement: Collect and communicate feedback from managers and employees regarding HR products and services. Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance HR initiatives and user experience
- Organizational Change: Lead clients through realignment, restructuring, and reorganization processes, providing recommendations to ensure business needs are met while minimizing risk
- Project Management: Manage special HR projects outside the scope of the HR Business Solutions team. Develop templates and tools for the HR department and collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives
What We Are Looking For:
- Significant experience as an HR advisor or business partner role, managing complex workloads
- Undergraduate degree in a related discipline; post-graduate certificate in Human Resource is an asset. CHRL designation preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices and expertise in HR management theories, employee relations, and performance management
- Strong relationship-building and coaching skills and proven ability to guide and interact with multiple management layers
- Discreet handling of confidential information
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify trends and recommend solutions
- Detail-oriented with a sense of urgency and strong follow-through
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to lead, influence, and bring creative business solutions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

We offer a competitive salary range of $99,800 to $149,700 (P5 level), pay will align with skills, knowledge and experience of the candidate. This posting will close on September 27, 2024 at 5:00pm Interviews will be done on a rolling basis.
