Systems Administrator to join their team!
Role
As a
Systems Administrator, you’ll be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing IT infrastructure and security. You will be responsible for overseeing the deployment of critical security patches and fixes, enforcing IT infrastructure and security standards, and managing/troubleshooting hardware and software assets. The ideal candidate for this role will be an IT Generalist, possessing cross-functional skills and capable of working a fast-paced environment.

How You Will Impact
- Manage infrastructure components’ lifecycle, including inventory and maintenance. Configure and manage VMware servers and desktops, SQL databases, and storage systems
- Ensure smooth daily operations of processing, storage, networking, and security equipment. Develop and manage remote access and data transfers
- Deploying and managing Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019, Active Directory, Group Policies, and scripting
- Supporting networking technologies including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and various network protocols
- Oversee and implement critical and regular security patches, ensuring compliance with IT infrastructure and Information Security standards and procedures
- Participate in audits and ISMS programs
- Work closely with Technical Support and Development teams to ensure service alignment and customer satisfaction
- Provide after-hours support for infrastructure emergencies and regular maintenance
- Adhere to the Change Management process, evaluate and deploy infrastructure products and services, and participate in disaster recovery and business continuity testing
What You Will Bring
- 5+ years of experience in the following:
- Hands-on experience working in an enterprise IT environment
- Microsoft Office365, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Windows Server Support
- Experience with Veeam, Remote Desktop Services (RDS/Terminal Servers), MS SQL Server, FTP/SFTP/FTPS
- Proficiency in vulnerability management across platforms (Windows, Linux, Network devices, etc.)
- Strong experience with LAN/WAN
- Virtualization Environments: VMware or Hyper-V
- Experience with TCP/IP protocol, firewalls, switches, routers and security
Education and Certifications
- Education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field
- The following certifications would be considered an asset: ITIL, CISSP

- Salary: $100,000 - $120,000
