Opening this November, Disney’s The Lion King is looking for merchandise sellers at the Princess of Wales Theater! Merchandise sellers are responsible for providing exceptional service while selling merchandise and creating magical memories for Guests from around the world! While handling payment transactions and inventory with accuracy, they create a fun and engaging experience for Guests of all ages, contributing to the overall success of the retail business. By helping a family choose the perfect souvenir or stocking the shelves with the latest merchandise, this role is integral to making every Guest’s visit memorable.
The seller greatly impacts the efficiency of daily operations and is required to achieve tasks in a positive, proactive, and professional manner while collaborating with colleagues to meet goals. As a revenue-generating role, this job requires individuals to achieve results through proactive selling, a focus on promotions and incentives, adapting to different sales areas and techniques, and maximizing opportunities for sales throughout a sales period.

- Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Selling periods may involve prolonged periods of standing or an equivalent accommodation

- Scheduling is primarily nights, weekends, and some holidays
- Shifts are generally 5 hours and 15 minutes long, beginning two hours before show time.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Working proactively and positively towards individual and team goals, including sales targets, promotion goals, and group incentives.
- Maintaining accountability for all stock at respective selling locations.
- Performing quick, accurate, and effective transactions that enhance the Guest experience while observing all relevant Guest Service guidelines, including offering add-ons and communicating offers & promotions.
- Maintaining neat and organized operations both at kiosks and back of house so that product is clearly represented and available for replenishment, always ensuring accuracy.
- Maintaining and participating in producing company visual standards to present an outstanding theatrical environment.
- Assisting with weekly deliveries and stock organization.
