Job Overview:

Martin Estate and Injury Law is seeking to add an experienced family law lawyer to our family law group, in our Lake Country office. Previous experience in family law is necessary. The successful applicant will be confident appearing in Court for conferences and applications, as well as drafting separation and cohabitation agreements, handling divorce and common law couples' situations, negotiating resolutions and advising clients on child-centered outcomes which minimize conflict and promote healing and healthy relationships.

Our firm is a boutique, practicing in the areas of family law, wills & estates, business law and serious personal injury. Our family law department includes legal assistants, paralegals and three other lawyers. Headquartered in Vernon, with our branch office in Lake Country, we are paperless with the latest software and technology, and comfortable friendly offices. Our firm also employs remote paralegals and lawyers who are an important part of our team, and we have done so since before COVID. This position is an in-office one but you will sometimes be able to work from home and have some flexibility with your in-office hours.

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and billing targets. A full benefit package is provided after three months. Free parking onsite is provided. We also provide mentoring, group family law team meetings and professional development resources to support you and help you to grow professionally.
