Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Pump Technician with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing various types of pump systems in high-rise buildings and other commercial properties across Toronto.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on pump systems (booster pumps, sump pumps, fire pumps, etc.)
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair issues related to mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic pump systems
Install and commission new pump systems in retrofit projects
Work with control systems, including variable frequency drives (VFDs), motors, and electrical components
Provide accurate and detailed service reports for each job completed
Communicate effectively with clients, providing professional customer service and technical explanations
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all field activities
Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure efficient project execution

Requirements :

1-2 years of experience working with pump systems or related equipment
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting skills
Experience with various types of pumps (centrifugal, submersible, DCW booster etc.) is preferred
Basic understanding of VFDs, motors, and control systems
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites within the Greater Toronto Area
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications :

Technical diploma or certification in a related field (e.g., mechanical, electrical)
Experience working in high-rise or commercial building environments
Knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to pump systems
